All of my Templates are created using Excel 365 for Windows & so will work perfectly if you have this version of Excel or Excel 2016/2019 for Windows.

Older versions of Excel may have some compatibility issues and certain features may not work exactly as intended, especially if you have an earlier version that Excel 2010.

If you are using Excel on a Mac, most of the features should still work but there may be a few compatibility issues.

Unless specified in the listing description, my templates won’t work on Numbers for Mac.

If you don’t have excel then I recommend using Google Sheets (a free programme). I create specific Google Sheets versions of most templates - the link to these files is included in your Instruction Guide.

There’re a lot of options I know!!

First think about where you’re based - I have different options for different countries due to differences in how data is provided by the sales platforms and different tax requirements for your reporting.

Next, think about where you sell your products - all templates have the option to manually add income from any source but if you have a lot of sales on different platforms then you might be better looking at a multi platform option to automatically pull in your data and calculate your sales and fees.

Unfortunately no, you need to use the non vat version of the templates until you become vat registered and then switch over to the vat ones.

This is because the VAT templates work by calculating vat on all the relevant sales you have made and deducting this from your total revenue to show you your net income. They also pull out any vat that you have paid on your fees so that you can offset this against the vat payable on sales.

If you use this template before you’re vat registered you’ll be under-reporting your sales and fees for income tax purposes and showing your business as less successful and profitable than it really is.

If you start with the non-vat one and then need to make the switch at a later date, I’ll give you a substantial discount on your second purchase. I also offer a bundle of both the non-vat and vat templates which makes sense if you already know you’ll need both.
